Effective audit leadership requires skillsets in bringing out the best in people, setting strategy
and delivering results. This course provides practical tools for audit leaders to manage their
teams and initiatives. We will not only discuss setting audit strategy, properly budgeting and
forecasting projects, and actively managing and juggling numerous projects, but will also cover
the necessary soft skills that will help staff auditors and audit managers alike work with staff
auditors, clients and executive management.
Who Should Attend: Financial, Operational, and Information Technology Auditors in the Process
of Advancing to Manager (NASBA Field of Study: Auditing)
Objectives:
• Discuss risk identification and audit planning tools and techniques
• Learn how to manage the audit process from planning to follow-up
• Discuss interpersonal and team- building skills
• Further understanding of the audit report creation and negotiation process
